    Rebracketing of -tic after Greek words ending in -μα (-ma), such as problematic; extended to new environments in modern scientific coinages as such lymphatic; likely reanalyzed as if from -ate +‎ -ic.

    1. (unproductive) Used to form some adjectives (and sometimes nouns derived from them) meaning "of", "like", "characteristic of", etc.
      iarnă (winter) + ‎-atic → ‎iernatic (of the winter, hibernal)
      toamnă (autumn) + ‎-atic → ‎tomnatic (of the autumn, autumnal)
      zână (fairy) + ‎-atic → ‎zănatic (crazy)
