- -er- is the reduced form of the Italian infinitive endings -are and -ere.
- -emmo stems from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Vulgar Latin hĕbuimus, which stems from classical (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin habuimus, first-person plural perfect of habeō.[1]
