Etymology
[edit]The telegraph symbol ㋉ became part of Unicode due to its inclusion in Row 15 of GB 8565.2-88 表 A4 (1988), from 9710 of 标准电码本(修订本) (1983). First appears in 1952. See also Appendix:Chinese telegraph code/Mainland 1983 and Chinese telegraph code.
