Etymology
From Sanskrit इन्द्रधनु (indradhanu, “rainbow”, literally “Indra's arrow; Indra's bow”), from इन्द्र (indra, “Indra”) + धनु (dhanu, “arrow; bow”), equivalent to Thai อินทร + ธนู (tá-nuu). Compare Pali indadhanu, from which Modern Khmer ឥន្ទធនួ (ʼĕntôthônuŏ) is derived.
