Given that most of the Google Image search results I see for "Roman salute", including the pictures of Mussolini making the salute, show the raised, non-parallel arm posture which is currently labelled and "alternative form", it seems that (a) the "alternative form" is possibly the main form and the "parallel" form is the alternative form, and (b) because there is no consistent distinction between the two gestures, they should be all on one page, much like homographs. (Appendix:Gestures/Nazi salute can redirect to Appendix:Gestures/Roman salute.) Btw, why are only a few gestures in Category:Gestures? - -sche (discuss) 14:52, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
