There is a similar problem with 把关 (把守關口). There is a simplified and traditional entry for 把关. I do not know if the 把守關口 should be in the advanced list or not. Geminni 13:57, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the list. It should be 把关 (把關). -- A-cai 23:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

What is going on with 案件 *案情, are they two different words or supposedly the same words used differently in Taiwan and the PRC?Geminni 09:05, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

They're supposed to be two different words. For some reason there was no new line between the two. It is fixed now. -- A-cai 10:54, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

So much red here...[edit]

Who wants to go on an editing binge and help me create entries for as many of these as possible ??? :) Tooironic 07:05, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I don't have the kind of time to devote to Wiktionary that I would like to have, these days. However, I continue to add new entires when I have time. Over several years, I have developed a format for Chinese entries that I'm fairly happy with. However, I have not had the time to go back and update all of the earlier entries to this format. By way of compensation, I have just now updated all of the "a" entries in Appendix:HSK list of Mandarin words/Advanced Mandarin to the latest desired format, beginning with 哀悼. More information on the preferable format for Chinese entries can be found at WT:AC. Thanks. -- A-cai 13:06, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Errors noted in passing[edit]

"jìng'éryuǎnzhī" (meaning: keeping a respectful distance) is one line too low, next to "境地" (which should be "jìngdì"). Alas, I don't have time to fix it myself right now. —IslandGyrl 15:58, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Appendix:HSK_list_of_Mandarin_words[edit]

Regarding Appendix:HSK_list_of_Mandarin_words, except for the first level, the rest presents first the simplified word, then traditional in parentheses, which as far as I can tell is the reverse approach taken here. Furthermore, the advanced level shows a formatting error, starting at letter "w", repeating "Template:l" in a column several times. --Backinstadiums (talk) 08:39, 7 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
