Arkite (plural Arkites)

  1. One of the descendants of Canaan, according to Genesis 10:17 and 1 Chronicles 1:15, and also inhabitants of the land of Canaan, according to Joshua 16:2.
    David's friend Hushai was an Arkite (2 Samuel 15:32).
