Originally, all etymological categories were named like this and placed in the category tree (like Category:nl:French derivations). Some time ago we moved all these to their current names, but because these two categories were not for derivations from languages, we left them where they were. They should still be renamed and moved into the "Etymologies" tree, though. —CodeCat 18:51, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've created Category:English terms derived from the Bible and Category:English terms derived from fiction with the appropriate subcategories. Now we just need to move over the contents of the old categories. —CodeCat 17:00, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
