From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Russian Черно́быль (Černóbylʹ), from черно́быль (černóbylʹ, mugwort). Compare (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ukrainian Чорно́биль (Čornóbylʹ), from чорно́биль (čornóbylʹ, mugwort), from чо́рне n (čórne, black) + билля́ (bylljá, grass blades or stalks).
