Etymology[edit]

Named after the city, due to having spread from a couple of Danish or at least Scandinavian coaches, in analogy to Nordic hamstring curls.[1]

  1. An exercise where one of a person's legs is put on an elevated surface and the upper body is on the forearm nearest to the ground.
