A calque of Italian Regno di Napoli and Latin Regnum Neapolitanum (“Kingdom of the Neapolitans”), from the realm's capital at Naples.

- (historical, inexact) Synonym of Parthenopean Republic, a short-lived French puppet state, or inclusive of it when ignoring its separate existence in 1799
- (historical, inexact) Synonym of Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, properly the union of the kingdoms of Naples and Sicily but with its capital at Naples from 1817 to 1861
