Ambiguous voicing

@JohnC5: How are we going to transcribe VC ambiguous signs? When they are geminate they should obviously take the voicing of the adjacent character. Elsewhere we could either give preference to the voiceless transcription, or the voice of the original Sumerian sign. Btw, I supose we will adopt "qa" as a transliteration for "𒋡" instead of "ka₄", but I'm unsure if we should transcribe it as "q" too. --Tom 144 (𒄩𒇻𒅗𒀸) 22:03, 25 March 2018 (UTC)

@Tom 144: I will be working on an algorithm to choose the best voicing alternative, though, in the absence of an adjacent match, I would select the unvoiced variant. I also don't think we should ever use "q" in transcriptions as it was not different from "k/g" as far as I am aware, right? —*i̯óh₁n̥C^[5] 22:30, 25 March 2018 (UTC)

@Tom 144, after some work, this thing is up and running. I think I've gotten it to be as efficient as possible. Please add more test cases at tests:test_1_tr at Module:hit-translit/testcases, and tell me if you find any obvious bugs. @Tom 144, also, I have a copy of the Hethitisches Zeichenlexikon (Rüster, Neu 1989), which has all the Akkadograms in it as well. Though they'd never be used by this module, I'd like to make a table of all this information for utility's sake.
