吉士?

[edit]

@Wyang Any idea where 吉士 (jíshì) is used? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 04:40, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure. It's used on McDonald's menu in Mainland China ('cheeseburger'), and it's pretty rare other than that. I assumed it's a non-Mainland word. 吉士 also seems to be an abbreviation of 吉士達, used in 吉士粉. Wyang (talk) 06:05, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Wyang The Cross-Straits Dictionary specifically says that 吉士 is a Mainland word, though. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 06:16, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, this is pretty strange. Wyang (talk) 06:24, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
