Perhaps related to Mongolian ᠨᠢᠭᠦᠷᠰᠦ (nigürsü, sappanwood, alder) or Urmi Evenki лакамавун (lakamawun, elm), Manchu ᠯᠠᡥᠠᡵᡳ (lahari, a kind of oak), ᠯᠠᡥᠠ (laha, straw mixed with clay to form a building material).
