Root aorist[edit]

@CodeCat, LIV and Kloekhorst reconstruct a root aorist, but I'm unsure where the Balto-Slavic forms go. Is there aspect paradigm hopping in Balto-Slavic like the Germanic stative-cum-present verbs? Or do we perhaps put these as (secondary?) root presents as are found in Sanskrit? —JohnC5 06:47, 16 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
