OHG -pf- appears to point to to PWG -ppj- rather than -ffj-. On what basis is -ffj- reconstructed here? —Rua (mew) 09:32, 20 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Rua: FEW is the source, which I've added to the page. If if was *-ppj- Late Latin most likely would have borrowed it as such, but we could to theorize LL borrowed it straight from OHG. --{{victar|talk}} 22:06, 22 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
