For the record: most of these words (originally with a syllabic -l at the end) are usually pronounced in Hungarian with an epenthetic schwa-like vowel (possibly approximated with the letter ö) before the last consonant:
- [b]: Stróbl, Gőbl, Lőbl, Ybl
- [d]: Mádl, Peidl, Lidl, Steindl, Wierdl
- [ɡ]: Heigl, Rengl, Lingl, Jingle (Bells) [~dzsingöl], Gungl, Kungl, Fogl, Gógl, Google [~gúgöl] (the latter also with a localized variant in informal speech, [gugli])
- [p]: Rippl-Rónai (the first part), Ruppl, Lampl, Gimpl, (Miss) Marple [~márpöl]
- [t]: (Doctor) Dolittle [~dúlitöl], Ertl, Disztl
- [k]: Eckl, Michael [~májköl]
- [z]: puzzle [~pázöl]
- [s]: Feszl
- [ʃ]: Fischl, Amschl
- [m]: Kreml
- [n]: Meinl
Those with -r are, however, usually pronounced without any vowel insertion or occasionally by omitting the last consonant: Pjotr, Sartre, Louvre. See: Source 1, source 2. Adam78 (talk) 15:46, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
