@PUC: Hi, please continue to add requests for inflections on Ukr. and Belar. entries, which need them. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 15:57, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Atitarev: I wanted to add them myself, as I promised I would the other day; I've just done a few. Problem is, I only have a Russian keyboard, so I don't have an easy way to type ⟨і⟩ or ⟨ў⟩. I have to resort to the special characters panel constantly, which makes the task really tedious. (I also don't have an easy way to type accented vowels in Russian, which is one of the reasons why I haven't been contributing more in it.) PUC21:18, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@PUC: I see, thanks. You have a different style of coming back to entries. You don't really need so many keyboards. I use SC UniPad editor, which has multiple keyboards and character maps. All diacritics and accents can be copied around, characters combined and decomposed. MediaWiki:Edittools has also the required letters and accents. in Горох, you can copy the inflected forms from tables, you only need to split alternative stresses, like https://goroh.pp.ua/дівчина: ді́вчи́на -> ді́вчина, дівчи́на. Слоўнік (seems currently down) doesn't have acute accents, so you'll have to use other means. Adding inflections slows down everything, no doubt, so it's OK to have less entries but with quality. Thanks for your contributions, you're getting good at it. Be cautious with etymologies, though.
BTW, is there a shortcut for {{ru-PRO}} in {{alter}}, similar to {{alter|bg|человѣкъ||pre-1945}}? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:08, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev: Now there is: see diff. For it to work, I created Module:ru:Dialects, on the basis of other Category:Dialectal data modules. PUC15:49, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@PUC: Thank you for this and sorry for the late reply. Is this how the Bulgarian alt forms are implemented? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 05:41, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev: Yes, see Module:bg:Dialects. Same for Taraskievica spellings in Belarusian: Module:be:Dialects (an example). PUC10:27, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
@PUC: Thank you! --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 11:02, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Also I'd prefer if those dialectal data modules were called Module:XX:Lects. What do @Vahagn Petrosyan, Victar, Erutuon think? PUC15:49, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I don't have a preference. --Vahag (talk) 15:57, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I agree it makes sense, though it would be better to propose it in the Beer Parlour. — Eru·tuon 16:42, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
