@Fay Freak, can you check the spelling and meaning of Arabic انب (anab)? The source is {{R:ar:Qamus|page=75|vol=I}}. --Vahag (talk) 13:13, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That theory of how it is derived from the Arabic by misreading sounds crank, as you have already mentioned; such words are not spread by literary acquaintance, and I am not aware either that this word has been around in literature, nor is it now current: the eggplant is called بَاذِنْجَان (bāḏinjān) in various variants and that’s it, as has been surveyed by the Wortatlas. I only find it in dictionaries and synonyms lists compiled from dictionaries and compilations compiled from other compilations. Fay Freak (talk) 15:40, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Calak, I found Zazaki sımıltkun (hairless, smooth). Is its formation transparent to you? --Vahag (talk) 11:00, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Dark for me.--Calak (talk) 16:20, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
