It seems strange to me, too. But I found it in a reliable source, namely Vasmer's Etymological Dictionary (of Russian), see папиро́са (papirósa). And I don't know what you can call that kind of coincidence. --WikiTiki89 22:53, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
