@Frigoris yes, o' course. in classical sanskrit तत्सम means a prakrit term similar to [its ancestor] sanskrit term so no doubt that hindi word is from there (although by a small extension of its meaning) — Svārtava03:57, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
