@Benwing2, AryamanA: Is this pronunciation right? TY Hindi dict just gives "bahas". --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 12:47, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Atitarev, Benwing2: That's how "aha" as a sequence is realized in Delhi Hindi. That will be added at some point to the module in phonetic brackets []. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 13:46, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Benwing2, AryamanA @AryamanA, thank you. I read about this in my textbook. I saw that you changed to the default transliteration for now, no (additional) respelling required? Would respelling be required for वह (vah) or यह (yah)? Should the default transliteration stay as is? --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:16, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Atitarev, Benwing2: Ah, those are a special case; Delhi has adpoted the pronunciations ye and vo, which do not correspond to the written form. I think we should keep yah and vah as the translit, since that's how it's spelled (and outside of Delhi, and certainly in formal contexts, that is how they are often said.) —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 02:04, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
