Hi @Mar vin kaiser, could you check this entry out? Thanks! — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 08:44, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Justinrleung: This word was added by Mlgc1998 in the dialectal synonyms chart, but I've never heard it in my life, actually. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 11:18, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mar vin kaiser: Hmm... @Mlgc1998, are you sure about this word that you added a while back to the module? — justin(r)leung (t...) |&nbspc=› } 18:27, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: Yeah, I've heard this before. It's when someone wants to express that they like or want this more compared to another thing. I've not heard of kah-ì before, only something like 我佮愛這罐。"Góa kah-ài chí-koàn."--Mlgc1998 (talk) 19:52, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mlgc1998: Does that mean "I like this can/bottle more"? If so, I think that should be 我較愛這罐, where 較愛 is SoP. @Mar vin kaiser, can you confirm? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 20:16, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: Could be referring to any type of thing or person, like 我佮愛這個/款...。"Góa kah-ài chí-gê/khoán...." can also be.--Mlgc1998 (talk) 21:07, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mlgc1998: Sorry for not being clear. I meant to ask if 佮愛 means "like more" (佮 "more" + 愛 "like") rather than "like". — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 21:11, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: I guess it might be like that. --Mlgc1998 (talk) 21:14, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Justinrleung: It sounds like she's referring to 較愛 (khà-ài), am I right, @Mlgc1998? --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 07:24, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mar vin kaiser: I'm not exactly sure about the pronunciation nuances, but the meaning checks out I suppose.--Mlgc1998 (talk) 07:30, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mlgc1998, Mar vin kaiser: Thanks. I've sent it to RFV. From the looks of it, it should be 較愛, which is SoP. Perhaps leave a message there to say that it's completely wrong. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 07:35, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Mlgc1998: I appreciate your contributions, but next time, verify first if the characters you're adding are correct by looking the character entry and the pronunciation in Min Nan. Or if you're not sure, you can ask me. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:43, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Based on the discussion, I think this should just be deleted. It's wrong on several levels: 1) It's not 佮 (kah), but 較 (khà). 2) It doesn't mean "to like" but "to like more". 3) It's SoP. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 22:24, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
