條 as used for text messages is missing a definition[edit]

This word can apparently be used as a classifier for text messages as in the sentence "我昨天收到了三十多條垃圾短信。" (as found at https://resources.allsetlearning.com/chinese/grammar/Indicating_a_number_in_excess). This usage is corroborated by Google Translate.
