Etymology[edit]

@Justinrleung, Tooironic I have seen 筋肉 used in "駱駝祥子" (1937) by 老舍 (cited in 漢語大詞典), so this word should be used in (at least) Beijing dialect. This word is also part of Modern Standard Mandarin, as 現代漢語詞典 has included this word. But I think the current internet usages of 筋肉 in MSM are impulsed by Japanese 筋肉. Do you think my claim is okay?
