Conjugation[edit]

@Wyang Does {{ko-conj/adj}} produce the right result here? --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 03:34, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Looks OK. The major exception to the general adjective conjugation pattern is the present determiner '없는' instead of '없은', but I had added this to Module:ko-conj, as there are other adjectives ending in 있다/없다 (eg. 재미있다,재미없다,맛있다), which are conjugated similarly in the present determiner. I will change the rule on interrogative too. Wyang (talk) 03:46, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I have removed the manual section that was there before, among them was 없느냐. Is it correct, should it be in the table? I may want to add conjugation to all 다 adjectives in the future where it's missing but I don't know enough to be certain about correctness. Do you want me to check with you for each of them or you'd prefer me not to do it? --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 03:57, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think it should be all right. You could also compare the two tables before you save them, just making sure the forms of the stems are identical would be enough. Also please make sure irregular p/h/s- adjectives are labelled with |irreg=y. Wyang (talk) 04:11, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean the final consonant before 다? --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 04:18, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There are three stems in the conjugation paradigm, labelled '|stem1=,stem2=,stem3=' in {{ko-conj-adj}}. Occasionally there is an alternative form for stem2, which would be |stem2a. For example, 시다 has stem1=시, stem2=셔, and stem2a=시어 (stem3=stem1 if empty). When you convert it into {{ko-conj/adj}}, you can check that all these stems are found in the paradigm generated by the template, and used in various places (i.e. the template generates the same stems). It's not necessary to do this, but doing it would be better. Wyang (talk) 04:39, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'll need more time, thank you very much. Do you have good resources on Korean grammar and vocabulary? Perhaps you should also update your Babel with languages you know? --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 06:11, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
