Inflection[edit]

With the definite article it is "der Maximalpigmentierte" (genitive des Maximalpigmentierten, plural die Maximalpigmentierten)", but with the indefinite article it is "ein Maximalpigmentierter (genitive eines Maximalpigmentierten, plural (mehrere) Maximalpigmentierte)". Both "Maximalpigmentierte" and "Maximalpigmentierter" are in nominative case.
In case of "normal" German substantives the article doesn't matter, e.g. it's "der Tisch" and "ein Tisch". In case of substantives of the adjectival declension (usually adjectives changed into substantives), the article does matter. So simply "Maximalpigmentierter" could be understand as "der Maximalpigmentierter" and "ein Maximalpigmentierter", but that's wrong. Thus the new form doesn't seem to be better. -21:12, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

@SemperBlotto, -sche I'm not really sure what to do in this situation in terms of PoS, declension, or proper lemma. It seems the me, given the above information, that this should merely be the adjective maximalpigmentiert and not this substantivized form. —JohnC5 21:29, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
