I noticed this entry is in Category:English idioms. Is this correct? -- OlEnglish (Talk) 11:00, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

I don't think so. It's there because of the peculiar nature of the noun/interjection use in "one Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi" to approximate three seconds in children's games such as "hide and seek" and (American) touch football. It would be nice to put it in a category with some other analogous terms that had a suitable linguists' label. Any ideas? DCDuring TALK 23:54, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
