Vague etymology
[edit]Well, it's well recorded, but the meaning of Moor, as found on Wikipedia, only denotes that it derives from the ethnonym for a Berber people. Here on Wiktionary, it gives two sources, one an ethnonym, and the more popular one, meaning dark, in Ancient Greek. Needs more elaboration either in Wikipedia or here. 2601:2C6:4A80:3A90:2DA5:944:4CD7:76D4 04:50, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
