@-sche: Why did you create this entry without representing the initial glottal stop? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 03:19, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Initial guess: probably the source(s) I was working from didn't lemmatize this with a glottal stop, and/or the word had already been entered in this form by PK/Liliana or someone else on water and I created the entry primarily to house references verifying the lexeme's existence, while going through all the existing translations and referencing them, assuming at the time (2014) that the initial adder would've added the right/best lemma form. Looking through the history, I see it was indeed added years before I came and found references, and looking at the references, I see Blench indeed spells it without a glottal stop, which would've been why I retained the already-entered spelling. :) If you have more specialized or better references and want to move the entry, go ahead. - -sche (discuss) 20:14, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@-sche: Thanks. I went looking and found this, which is very helpful and shows that we'll need to split up the entry a bit and add dialect labels. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:58, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
