Etymology[edit]

@Carl Francis Since this is an evident derivative of Spanish abrir (with change of R to L and removal of final R, though you also have an entry for an alternative form that further gives a clue), could you provide a source to justify removing it. Unless you can provide a source, it's obvious it's a borrowing of Spanish, plus modifications common with early borrowings. --TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 23:51, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
