@Lingo Bingo Dingo, sorry for the delay. Nothing that I could find, but this article mentions the hypothesis that it comes from kaki Seitan, allegedly “Devil’s feet”. — Ungoliant (falai) 15:28, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
