@PUC Wait, isn't the fact that it's pronounced the same way incidental? It's still a different word, and like saying guestsroom is another spelling for guestroom. –Jberkel 12:06, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

@PUC: @Jberkel: I think I would agree with Jberkel. "Amis" is pronounced like "ami" but they are not the same word: one is plural and one isn't. So grammar is involved as well as spelling. Equinox ◑ 23:59, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
