Talk:chillax
Where did the term chillax come from originally? — This unsigned comment was added by 63.118.185.66 (talk) at 19:03, 5 May 2008 (UTC).
- The term "Chillax" can be traced back as far back as 2001. A writer/comedian by the name of Las Visciedo claims to have coined this phrase after a spat with his then girl friend and then used later on stage during a performance. According to the story she hated it when he told her to "relax", in turn he corrected this behavior by then telling her to "chill". The new result seem to upset her even more which resulted in Laz finally telling her to "Chillax" Their relationship ended soon after. Laz is now on a world wide campaign to officially be recognized for coming up with the term. — This unsigned comment was added by Laz77 (talk • contribs) at 17:11, 8 April 2010 (UTC).
- Any video evidence or anything? If not someone could simply claim to have used it in 2000, or 1999, or 1998. You see what I'm saying. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:26, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- I told my maths teacher to Chillax in 1994. 202.65.86.121 05:22, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

I was just watching this movie and she does say it, they’re hanging out in her pink apartment and he pours them a drink, she then clearly says “chillax” during their conversation. — This unsigned comment was added by 122.56.197.157 (talk) at 08:08, 15 October 2019 (UTC).
(22/07/21 addendum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLIwz9gn00g She sounds like she is saying chillax, but the "closed captioning" reveals that she is saying "let's relax". And if you listen real closely, yes it is "let's relax". — This unsigned comment was added by 2603:7000:6B07:1567:C195:EBB4:AE90:34FB (talk) at 17:59, 21 July 2022 (UTC).
