I think it means something like "If I were to be honest, I would have to admit that I believe that..." It's getting close to distinguishing between belief and truth. Tricky. Pingku 20:24, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, I think the problem was likely due to misunderstanding "undeniably" as meaning "I cannot deny that ...", rather than misunderstanding "confessedly" as meaning "You cannot deny that ...". This is a problem both with the whole concept of defining a word by giving a single synonym, and with our definition of undeniably (q.v.). —RuakhTALK 20:30, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
