Pronunciation

Isn't it a difference between the pronunciation of the two d:s in daddy. The first d sounds like the d in duck but the second d sounds like the d in bad. I hear a big difference anyways. Ds. American accent Jonteemil (talk) 14:39, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Also theatrical slang for a stage manager; this can be found in various jargon books, like Green's Newspeak (1984) and Croker's Terms of Employment: The Secret Lingo of the Workplace (2012). Citing it in actual usage is harder. Equinox ◑ 09:21, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
