Restored with fixed title, though as PP it should come from the verb dime, no? DAVilla 22:02, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
    • No Google Books hits for "dimed" meet the definition proposed; a search for "dimed" along with various keywords (amp, amplifier, amplifiers, amps, guitar, guitars, speaker, speakers, volume) turns up nothing but references to the phrase "nickel-and-dimed" meaning overwhelmed with a number of small expenses. bd2412 T 13:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Plenty of Google Groups hits from Usenet; cited accordingly. Please take a look. —RuakhTALK 17:30, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
