it is "interesting" to see this with a "British English" flag considering this spelling is not in the Oxford dictionary... The correct British spelling would seem to be with a space in the middle. Is British English defined here as something other than what one might expect to find in the Oxford dictionary? If so, how would one confirm this? -- Abfackeln (talk) 10:06, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You could try a Google Books search for dinnertime+school, i.e. [1]. The reason for the Brit gloss is presumably that Americans never call a midday meal "dinner", rather than anything relating to the space. Equinox 10:08, 7 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
