I'm not sure if this is a common enough misspelling to deserve an entry, but I was interested to find out that (as of 22:26, 20 March 2009 (UTC)) it gets 89 results on Google Book search (although some are for a person with this name), 283 on Google Groups, and 702 on Google (with the duplicate filter off). Also, although this appears to be a typo in the catalog record (as it shows up corrected in the catalog of the library the holds it), Worldcat shows a South Carolina government publication with this in the title. So, I'm putting these notes here for the edification of anyone else who comes across them. Maybe I'll check back in a year and see how they've changed. There are misspellings, and then there are typos. Nobody, shown what they had written, would maintain that galnce was the way they intended to spell it. I think we should probably avoid having entries for this sort of typo. Equinox 22:32, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
I think you are probably right, that was why I put this on the talk page, and didn't create the entry. Hopefully folks won't feel the need to delete this talk page in a fit of tidyness (that's a misspelling ;-)). JesseW 03:00, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
