The former uses U+2019 right single quotation mark, and the latter uses U+02BC modifier letter apostrophe. Is there a standard for this language? --TongcyDai (talk) 15:04, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

We shouldn't be using the right single quotation mark at all. If it's functioning as an apostrophe (e.g. in a contraction) we use the typewriter apostrophe '. If it's functioning as a letter, e.g. to indicate an ejective consonant, we use the modifier letter apostrophe, in any language using the mark with this "superscript 9" orientation. —Mahāgaja · talk 16:12, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
