Needs citations that are not clearly quoting Vonnegut. I've only been able to find one, and that's not really using the word in the spiritual sense Vonnegut meant (although it's probably close enough - it refers to a sports team who works so well together that it could be considered a "cognitive unit") Smurrayinchester (talk) 13:27, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I added two others. One gives a nod to Vonnegut, but is using it separately. Kiwima (talk) 01:16, 7 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

κέρας?[edit]

It occurred to me that "karass" may have been an allusion to the gates of horn (κέρας) through which true dreams pass. There's a nice analogy between karass vs. granfalloon and horn vs. ivory. But of course "granfalloon" doesn't resemble ἐλεφαίρομαι much.

Don't worry, I'm not going to add random speculation to the page -- but if someone finds similar speculation in a reliable source, please add it. Patallurgist (talk) 21:04, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
