@Equinox Is it really referring to the northern groundcone (Boschniakia rossica)? This source says mitsugashiwalactone is extracted from buckbean (Menyanthes trifoliata), which would make more sense etymologically.

P.S. Regardless of the species, whoever came up with this English name should still be punished.
