Dutch defs. Under the first etymology, defs 1, 2 and 4 come from the same origin. I cannot attest the third def (peat) in any dictionaries that I know of. Peat usually translates to veen or turf. The use of moer to refer to a peat is likely regional.obsolete. I will remove it from the list for now. JamesjiaoT C 08:14, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
