Supposed to be a plural of (deprecated template usage) neuron or the (deprecated template usage) central nervous system. I don't think so. SemperBlotto 11:25, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
- Our Ancient Greek entry gives νεῦρᾰ (neûra) as the nominative plural of νεῦρον (neûron), so at the very least it's etymologically consistent. Mglovesfun (talk) 09:07, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
