"slang term for an inexperienced, newly trained fighter pilot." This definition has been nominated for deletion on the German Wiktionary. It would be nice to see some citations here, too, but I didn't want to RFV it as it might be easy to cite. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:51, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

• Originally it was a nautical term, but yeah, you often hear it with air force too. I'm trying to think of US films where I've heard it, although the only thing that comes to mind is Battlestar Galactica, where it crops up all the time. Ƿidsiþ 12:15, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Data mining sense?
