¶ Is this actually archaic or rare? There are ∼100 Google books past the 1970s which feature this form. Although it is an older and less common spelling, I think those tags are erroneous. --Pilcrow 13:49, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this here? Mglovesfun (talk) 23:00, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose that Pilcrow (talkcontribs) is making a "request for verification" of the correctness of the "(rare, archaic)" sense-tag. —RuakhTALK 23:36, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
¶ So should I remove this request? --Pilcrow 19:37, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think so. Maybe ask in the tea room? This page is really more for verifying whether a given word or sense exists. —RuakhTALK 20:02, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hence the WT:RFM request filed by CodeCat to change the name of this page to Requests to attestation. That request has died a bit. --Mglovesfun (talk) 11:11, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Closing. --Pilcrow 22:40, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Psychology sense[edit]

This word is also used in (Kleinian?) psychology. Wikipedia has something on it. Equinox 12:55, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
