I think that before vowels the prefix should be prod-, e.g. third person singular present "prodest", as in phrase "cui prodest" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cui_bono).

Correct. This has been a known issue for a couple of years, but requires specialized knowledge and a good bit of work to fix, so it was left alone. Once it was brought to the attention of the right people, they fixed it. Thanks for bringing this up! Chuck Entz (talk) 07:37, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

The only reason it took a lot of work is that Semper and his bot ended up creating incorrect forms and macronless entries based on incorrect template usage. —Μετάknowledge^{discuss/deeds} 16:36, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
