Telephone[edit]
I think the part of a telephone that produces the ring sound is called a ringer (see e.g. trimphone definition). How can we define this accurately? Equinox ◑ 10:50, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- Like "dial", the word is now a relic of bygone technology. My first draft: "Any device or system that signals that a telephone call is incoming." DCDuring TALK 11:33, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
