"A big shot" is redundant to "A man of high rank". —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 05:45, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

The entire entry was simply copy-pasted from the Mi'kmaq online dictionary. That dictionary was cited as a reference, so I don't think it's a copyvio per se, but I have reworked the entry and deleted that sense in the process. - -sche (discuss) 06:11, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Citing a thing as a reference has very little bearing on there being a copyvio, if any at all. Copying-and-pasting definitions and translations from a copyrighted source with a license unsuitable for Wiktionary is copyvio and asking for trouble, regardless whether the source was cited. --Dan Polansky (talk) 18:55, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
