Someone at the company I work for (in the Midlands) referred to bowling as skittles. Is that a normal Midlands (or even northern) thing? Where I live, in the south-east, I've always heard it called bowling, and although I know the word skittle, the things you knock down in bowling are called pins. Our entry suggests that skittles is a "pub game" rather than something you'd do at a bowling alley. Is that right, too? Equinox 01:47, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
